I'm Royce — a U.S. Navy veteran with 24 years in some of the highest-consequence work the military does. I spent my career leading people and managing risk where mistakes weren't an option, and I've spent the years since helping people find their footing when things get hard.

I live here in Okinawa. My wife is Japanese, our family is bicultural, and I've walked the SOFA, immigration, and intercultural-marriage road myself — not from a textbook, but from my own kitchen table. I hold a degree in interdisciplinary studies, I'm continuing graduate work in psychology, and I'm a certified school counselor. But the thing I bring that no credential gives you is this: I've been inside the systems you're trying to understand, and I've stood close to where you're standing now.
